What is Peace?
What does peace actually look like when life is busy, full of contrast and you're still figuring things out?
Virr is joined by co-host Ben Laing to explore why peace can be so hard to receive, and what happens when you finally get what you want.
- The difference between peace and bliss
- Why peace can feel boring, or even uncomfortable, when you're used to chaos
- What happens when you get what you want and struggle to receive it
- Why a vision pulls harder than pain
- Gratitude as a simple way back into the present moment
Includes a guided meditation, "Creating Space for Peace". Part 2 is coming soon.

Find out which Stress Mask you're wearing
Most people run one of four stress patterns without knowing it: fight, flight, freeze or fawn. The Stress Mask quiz shows you which one is yours.
If an episode has ever hit a little too close to home, this is the best place to start. It takes about three minutes, and it's a quiz, not a sales call.
- 01Answer a short series of questions about how you respond under pressure

The Hero with a Thousand Faces
Joseph Campbell's hero's journey, and why deep inner work needs integration: the hero goes in, then comes back to live life.
Maslow's hierarchy of needs
Safety, security, belonging. Where a lot of our anxiety comes from, and why peace can feel like knowing you already have what you need.
Equanimity
Feeling life's ups and downs without being knocked over by them. You are the sky, and everything else is the weather.
Chris Williamson and Steven Bartlett
The conversation about why it's so easy to slip back into old habits: when you grow from A to B, there's a pull all the way back to A.
Ben Laing
Ben's website and social channels, including his 365 days of ice baths challenge.

What clients say
"Virr is the best coach and therapist you will find. His unusual techniques helped me to overcome fear and anxiety and convert that energy into love and kindness. Unlike any other coach out there, Virr took the time to create safety and validate my feelings before working on the actual problem, and that made all the difference."
"Finding Virr has been a real blessing. Whenever I need guidance or direction, he's the first person I turn to. He has this amazing ability to create a safe environment for honest and difficult reflections when facing big life decisions. Virr has been there every step of the way to help me work through my negative emotions, and has played a huge role in helping me discover my path in life."
"I came in not fully knowing what to expect from our time together. He put me at ease and, with gentle but confident words, guided me through a powerful process. It's crazy how real the visualisations felt, and the images I received were spot-on, insightful and helpful. I can imagine a series of sessions with Virr blasting my world open with revelations."
"I've had a number of sessions with Virr, and I can confidently say it was an incredibly positive experience. Virr created a comfortable and welcoming space that made it easy to open up. He listened attentively, offering comfort, understanding and insightful feedback, and provided tools to help me navigate my challenges. I felt more understood and equipped to handle what I'm facing."
Questions people ask
Do I need to have listened to the podcast before booking a session?
No. The podcast is a good way to get a feel for how I think and talk about this work, but it's not a prerequisite. Plenty of people book a free session having never heard an episode.
What's the difference between listening and actually working with you?
The podcast is ideas, the work is practice. Listening can shift how you think about a pattern, working together is where it actually changes.
